Chalk Creek Ranch Quarter Horses

Cathy Blonquist, owner of Chalk Creek Ranch, has owned, trained, shown and raised high-quality horses including Fox Trotter, Arabian, and Quarter horses for over 30 years. 
At Chalk Creek Ranch we raise and train AQHA registered quarter horses that come from world champion, reining, cutting, roping and working cow horse bloodlines. Cathy has shown and trained some top horses in several different disciplines. Here are just a few of her accomplishments; Cathy has been to Ava, Missouri several times to the world Fox Trotter show. She placed 3rd in World for 3 yo 2 gait class, and 1st in versatility high point. Cathy has traveled to California, Utah, Idaho and Montana to several State shows to compete and has won many classes. She has helped several girls learn to rodeo queen, and helped provide some therapy with Horses. Cathy has worked at and managed 3 large barns. When working for Blue Sky Ranch, Cathy started the up and coming world championship reigning horses. She also has a habit of helping folks with trouble horses to fill in the holes in training. Cathy is currently mentoring the next generation of cowboys and girls to start, train, and finish these fine athletic animals.
